Arklow Medical Practice has provided high quality personal and continuing medical care to patients and families in the area for over 30 years.

We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and regular check-ups.

Dr. June Coates, GP Partner

Dr. Coates has been working in general practice for over 25 years, 20 of which have been with us here in Arklow Medical Practice. She has special interests in female health, minor surgery and mental health. 

Dr. Ian Bothwell, GP Partner

Dr. Bothwell has over 35 years experience in general practice, 30 of which have been with us here in Arklow Medical Practice. He has special interests in occupational health, musculoskeletal medicine and GP training. 

Dr. Larry Flynn

Dr. Flynn has been working with Arklow Medical Practice since 2018. He has a special interest in musculoskeletal medicine.

Dr. Marco Velasquez

Dr. Velasquez has been working with Arklow Medical Practice since 2018. He has a special interest in emergency medicine. 

Management

Carole - Practice Manager

Carole joined Arklow Medical Practice in 2011 following a 12 year career in hospital administration.  She took over as Practice Manager in 2019. She has a passion for organisation and efficiency.
